Happy Easter

This weekend was off to a great start when I got news on Thursday that our administration decided to give the teachers Friday off (we originally had a professional development day scheduled). Mike took the day off on Friday too so that we could spend an extra day together:-) Kaelyn's class was going on a field trip on Friday. I was too late to attend the field trip but her teacher was okay with us meeting them at the park for lunch. I SOOO MISS being able to help out in Kaelyn's classroom on a regular basis.

Saturday the kids and I went to the mall to visit the Easter Bunny. When we got there the line looked about 2 HOURS long. I told the kids that it would be much more fun to "spy on the Easter Bunny" from the balcony of the mall and take his picture. They agreed -- YES - SCORE! We took a few pictures then went home to dye Easter eggs. We went to church Saturday night and today we went to Polly and Marlons for Easter lunch. We had fun over there and, as usual, I came home so full I don't feel good:-) The kids had their Easter egg hunt today at Polly and Marlons -- we totally over did it on the eggs!! There were more eggs than room in the baskets.
